Day 01 : Arrival Delhi
Welcome to India! arrive Delhi, meet assist at the airport by our tour representative & then transfer to hotel. Overnight stay in Delhi hotel.
Day 02 : Delhi
After leisurely breakfast proceed for sightseeing tour of Old & New Delhi where ornate buildings recall the days when India was the Jewel in the crown of the British empire. Visit the Red Fort, Raj Ghat, 11th century Qutab Minar ,India Gate and the grand government buildings, the President’s House, also visit Laxmi Narayan temple popularly known as Birla Temple. Overnight stay in Delhi hotel.
Day 03 : Delhi - Agra (203 Kms / 4½ Hrs)
After relaxed breakfast drive to Agra. On arrival in Agra, check in the hotel. Later proceed for sightseeing tour, Visit the Taj Mahal - A white marble Tomb building 1631 – 1648 in Agra, seat of the Mughal Empire by Shah Jahan for his wife, Arjuman Banu Begum, the monument sums up many of the formal themes that have played through Islamic architecture. Its refined elegance is a conspicuous contrast both to the Hindu architecture of pre – Islamic India, with its thick walls, corbelled arches and heavy lintels and to the Indo Islamic styles, in which Hindu elements are combined with an electric assortment of motifs from Persian and Turkish sources. AGRA FORT- Fort built in red sandstone with its magnificent palaces, halls of public and private audience and the beautiful gardens. This is where Emperor Shah Jahan was kept under house arrest by his third son Aurangzeb and spent the last year of his life viewing the Taj Mahal from across the river Jamuna. Day 04 : Agra - Jaipur (232 Kms / 5 Hrs)
After breakfast drive to Jaipur. Enroute visiting Fatehpur Sikri-a perfectly preservedred sandstone "ghost town" which was the estranged capital of mughal emperor Akbar, built in 1569 and deserted when its water supply failed. Arrive Jaipur & transfer to Hotel. Overnight stay in Jaipur hotel.
Day 05 : Jaipur
After leisurely breakfast, visit the majestic Amber Fort is one that cannot be easily described. The Amber Fort set in picturesque and rugged hills is a fascinating blend of Mughal Architecture, construct by Raja Mann Singh in 1592 and completed by Swai Jai Singh, the fort is made in red sand stone and white marble. The rugged forbidding exterior belies an inner paradise with a beautiful of art and architecture. Amber Fort is the classic and romantic fort palace with a magnificent aura. The interior wall of palace depicts expressive painting scenes with carvings, precious stones and mirror settings. Visit the City Palace located in the heart of the world city. The City Palace is a blend of Mughal and Rajasthani architecture and the royal family still lives in a part of the Palace. The building now forms the Maharaja Swai Man Singh II Museum and on display here are a wide array of royal costumes, some vary exquisite and precious pashmina (kashmiri) shawls, Benaras silk sarries sauganeri prints and folk embroidery. Day 06 : Jaipur - Jodhpur (280 Kms / 6 Hrs)
After breakfast drive to Jodhpur. On arrival check in the hotel. Later afternoon visit Mehrangarh Fort, Jaswant Thada, Museum and the old city at leisure. Overnight stay in Jodhpur hotel.
Day 07 : Jodhpur - Udaipur (via Ranakpur) (256 Kms / 6 Hrs)
After Breakfast drive to Udaipur -– “Lake City”, the most romantic city in Rajasthan. Enroute visit Ranakpur. Visit the famous Jain Temple, dating back to the 15th century. Sprawling over 48,000 sq. feet, the temple is an astounding creation with 29 halls and 1,444 pillars-all distinctly carved Images of 24 tirthankaras are carved on the ‘mandaps’ or porticoes in a corridor around the shrine with each mandap having a ‘shikhar’ or spire adorned with little bells on the top. Proceed journey to Udaipur. On arrival in Udaipur Check in the hotel. Overnight stay in Udaipur hotel.
Day 08 : Udaipur
Breakfast in Hotel, after breakfast proceed for sightseeing tour of Udaipur visiting City Palace, Jagdish Temple and Saheliyon ki bari. Overnight stay in Udaipur hotel.
Day 09 : Udaipur - Mumbai (By Air)
Leave Udaipur early morning and transfer to the airport to board flight for Mumbai. Arrive Mumbai meet assist and transfer to the hotel. Later half of the day city tour of Mumbai city. Places of attraction in Mumbai include The Gateway of India (built in 1911 to commemorate the visit of King George V and Queen Mary), Mani Bhawan (once the residence of Mahatma Gandhi), Marine Drive and Juhu Beach. Overnight stay in Mumbai hotel.
Day 10 : Mumbai - Cochin (By Air)
Breakfast in the hotel. Leave for airport to board flight for Cochin. Arrive Cochin. Transfer to hotel. Proceed for city tour in the afternoon. Cochin or Kochi, is one of the finest natural harbours on the Arabian Sea coast of India. A city of peninsulas and islands, today Cochin is the commercial hub of Kerala. Visit a number of Churches, the Chinese fishing nets at the entrance of Kochi Harbour and the Wellingdon Island. Overnight stay in Cochin hotel.
Day 11 : Cochin - Munnar
After breakfast drive to Munnar in the morning. On arrival Check in the hotel. Munnar, a hill station in Kerala, is located at the Idukki district of Kerala State in India. The word "Munnar" means three rivers. 3 mountain streams (Madurapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundala) are joining together here. Evening free at leisure. Overnight stay in Munnar hotel.
Day 12 : Munnar
After breakfast leave for full day sightseeing tour of Munnar. Visit Devikulam lake, Mattupetty lake and Kundala lake. The tea estates, hills, lakes and forests inside Munnar range expose its beauty. There are about 30 tea plantations in and around Munnar. Pallivasal, another worth seeing place in Munnar is the venue of the first Hydro Electric Project in Kerala and a place of immense scenic beauty. Overnight stay in Munnar hotel.
Day 13 : Munnar - Thekkady
After breakfast drive to Thekkady. On arrival check in the hotel. Leave for sightseeing in the afternoon. Lying close to the plantations, in the rich jungles of Periyar in Thekkady is one of the world's most fascinating natural wildlife reserves - the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary. Noted for its diversity of wildlife and scenic beauty, the Reserve attracts visitors from all over the world. The splendid artificial lake formed by the Mullaperiyar Dam across the Periyar river adds to the charm of the park. Day 14 : Thekkady - Kumarakom
After breakfast in the hotel drive to Kumarakom in the morning. Arrive Kumarakom and check in the hotel. Kumarakom the bird watcher's paradise. Bask in the beauty of nature amidst marvelous mangrove forests, coconut canopies and Pulsating paddy fields sprinkled with enchanting waterways and canals decked with while lilies. Day 15 : Kumarakom
Leave for Water Bird Sanctuary early in the morning. Spread over an area of 14 acres and situated on the eastern banks of the Vembanad lake, the sanctuary adds to the natural beauty of Kumarakom. You can spot domestic birds like Cuckoo, Wild Duck, Egrets, Darters, Herons, Teal, and Waterfowl as well as migratory birds like the Siberian storks. Rest of the day enjoy Backwaters of Kerala. Day 16 : Kumarakom - Kovalam
After breakfast in the hotel you will be driven to Kovalam. On arrival in Kovalam check in the hotel. Kovalam is one of the most beautiful and famous beach destinations in South India. It has three different beaches of which the Lighthouse beach is the most famous beach. Ayurvedic massages and treatment especially during monsoon is another attraction of Kovalam. Day 17 : Kovalam (Sightseeing Trivendrum)
After breakfast in the hotel visit to the city of Trivendrum ( Thiruvananthapuram). Sightseeing of Trivendrum Includes visit to places like Padhamanabha Swamy temple, Museum, Horse Palace, and Art Gallery etc. Evening back to hotel at Kovalam. Overnight stay in Kovalam hotel.
Day 18 : Kovalam (Sightseeing Trivendrum)
Transfer to airport/ railway station for onward journey
