Day 01 : Arrive Nairobi
On arrival in Nairobi, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure. In the evening you will have an option of enjoying dinner at the Carnivore restaurant. Overnight at Intercontinental Hotel or similar in Nairobi.
Day 02 : Nairobi - Samburu Game Reserve
Travel north to the Samburu Game Reserve. Set against the backdrop of the red tabletop mountain ?Lololokwi? and lying on the banks of the Uaso Nyiro River, this reserve will captivate you with its dramatic landscape and wildlife. Keep your binoculars handy for a late afternoon wildlife safari and spot elephants, reticulated giraffes, Somali ostriches, Beisa oryxes, gerenuks and the endangered Grevy?s zebras. Overnight at Samburu Sopa Lodge or similar in Samburu.
Day 03 : Samburu Game Reserve
Another day in the African bush, with morning and afternoon game drives to see wildlife unique to this arid yet beautiful part of Kenya. Overnight Overnight at Samburu Sopa Lodge or similar in Samburu.
Day 04 : Samburu Game Reserve - Aberdare National Park
This morning, drive to the Aberdare National Park arriving in time for lunch. Later, you will check into your tree lodge built on stilts, overlooking a floodlit waterhole. The afternoon is at leisure to enjoy excellent views of animals visiting the waterhole from the observation platforms of the lodge. Overnight at Ark or similar in Aberdare National Park.
Day 05 : Aberdare National Park - Lake Nakuru National Park
Today, you will travel to Lake Nakuru, famed for its vast flocks of flamingo. Enjoy an afternoon game drive in Nakuru National Park, home to rhino, lion, leopard and numerous species of plain game. Overnight at Lake Nakuru Lodge or similar in Lake Nakuru.
Day 06 : Lake Nakuru National Park - Masai Mara Game Reserve
This morning, travel along the floor of the Great Rift Valley and enter Masai Mara Game Reserve, famous the world over for its staggering variety of wildlife and seasonal wildebeest migrations. Following lunch, embark on an afternoon game drive and look out for lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, hippos and the elusive leopards. Overnight at Keekorok Lodge or similar in Masai Mara.
Day 07 : Masai Mara Game Reserve
Rise before dawn for a spectacular Hot Air Balloon ride followed by a bubbly bush breakfast (optional). Later, set out on a late afternoon game spotting safari in the reserve and the opportunity to spot Africa?s ?Big Five?. Overnight at Keekorok Lodge or similar in Masai Mara.
Day 08 : Masai Mara Game Reserve - Nairobi Depart
Today, you will be transferred to the Nairobi airport for your flight back home.
