| Sabarmati Ashram |

Sabarmati Ashram is situated on the banks of River Sabarmati. It was founded in the year 1917 AD and is also known as Gandhi Ashram or the Harijan Ashram. The ashram once served as the residence of the Father of the Nation.
The ashram is open from 8.30 am to 6.30 pm (7 pm between April and September). Admission is free. |

| Hathisingh Jain Temple |

| Located on Shahibaug Road, this elaborate temple with its white facade is dedicated to Dharamanath, the 15 Jina of the Jain faith. Focus your attention on the rich carvings on its ceiling. It was commissioned by one of the city's leading merchant princes, belonging to the Jain faith, Sheth Hatheesingh Kesrisingh, in 1848. |

| Ahmedabad is famous for its towering minarets and the most popular one is theJhulta Minar. It is a classic example of its excellent craftsmanship and is a part of the mosque Siddi Bashir. This mosque is constructed in such a way that if you gently push its arc, the Minar will sway a little. This is great fun for kids. |

| Bhadra Fort is one of the majestic buildings in the city of Ahmedabad. The fort was constructed by Sultan Ahmed Shah in the year 1411 AD. It houses a number of palatial buildings, along with the sprawling Nagina Baug. |
