Introduction

It is the least populous state in India, and the second-smallest in area after Goa. The thumb-shaped state borders Nepal in the west, Tibet Autonomous Region of China to the north and east, and Bhutan in the south-east.

Darjeeling a town in the Indian state of West Bengal, is internationally famous for its tea industry and the Darjeeling Himalayan Railway, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Darjeeling in northeast India provides the perfect ambiance of a hill resort with its mild climate and laid back charm. Other important destinations in West Bengal which can be visited in North East tour are like Kalimpong, Mirik etc.
