The Singapore Zoo is a model of the `open zoo' concept. The animals are kept in spacious, landscaped enclosures, separated from the visitors by dry or wet moats. Snow City
Snow City is the first permanent indoor snow centre in Singapore. Snow City is a 3,000 square-metre centre with its facilities spread over 2 storeys. Of this, 1,200 sq-metres is covered with snow, called the Snow Chamber. You can snow tube, snowboard or ski your way down this 'giant snow slide'. The Snow Chamber is constantly maintained at -5°C.
Omni Theatre
The Omni-Theatre, opened on 10 December 1987, is Singapore's only IMAX dome theatre. The 276-seat theatre is equipped with state-of-the-art IMAX technology which delivers the world’s most immersive experience.
